Torchwood. I forgot to mention Torchwood. Now, why would I buy that any more than the premise of Lost? Can’t tell ya. But I do. I thought the season opener was a stunner. Also, we know that Captain Jack is on there not because of any stellar acting ability, but because he looks and acts like a cocky young Tom Cruise. His teeth are better, though. How odd/amazing for an Englishman!  It gives me such a charge to see him kiss another guy. Not because he’s kissing another guy, per se, but Tom’s gay and won’t come out about it, right? At least that’s the buzz I’ve heard when I bother to listen.  And so here’s this character that is openly gay who looks just like him, doing it on the BBC for all to see. Irony, yeah, that’s the ticket.
