Danger in the kitchen

I made apple butter over the last two days in the crock pot.  I ended up with two half pints, and half of a bigger pint jar which I didn’t bother to seal.  This is from 10 apples of various kinds, spices and that Splenda/sugar mix.

It’s so sweet and concentrated that it makes my hair stand on end when I eat it. We had it on our little breakfast sausage sandwiches and it was rather good.  I think I’ll make more for Christmas presents. :):)  Beware!
