Harry McCracken over at Technologizer had a little post about Amazon’s anniversary and how long he’s been buying there.  Made me curious so I looked it up.  1997!  Long time!  They sent me little Christmas presents for a couple of years for being a good customer–  a travel mug the first year,  post-its the next year, and one more thing the year after that which is eluding me at the moment.

What I really, really love is that I went to Amazon and it was so darned easy to find this first order, and that’s precisely why I always go back.
