More than enough is just right

I was angry with my friend: I told my wrath, my wrath did end. I was angry with my foe: I told it not, my wrath did grow.

You never know what is enough until you know what is more than enough.

You are forgiven for your happiness and your successes only if you generously consent to share them.

In seed time learn, in harvest teach, in winter enjoy.

The road of excess leads to the palace of wisdom.

Think in the morning. Act in the noon. Eat in the evening. Sleep in the night.

A good local pub has much in common with a church, except that a pub is warmer, and there’s more conversation.
All from William Blake, 1757 – 1827

Better not to keep it in. It’s like belching and farting. Better out than in for your own comfort (but maybe not anyone else’s). Heh.
