These are pretty boring today. I would guess that’s just me. Having a nice calm day today.
We walked the dogs down to the cement creek early this morning. Strange little park, no funds to keep it up, pretty weedy and dry, and you can’t really get down to the water because the banks are so steep. This is such an interesting topological area, all hills and dales, the lumpiest terrain you can imagine for being smack in the middle of such a citified area. We’re on a relatively flat piece front to back, but the neighbors on the left (speaking of neighbors) are 6 feet higher and the neighbors on the left are 6 feet lower.
Okay so here’s the one that I posted to facebook:
And here’s the original:
I can DEFINITELY do the latter with Sissy. Stay tuned!
If you can’t eat it or play with it, then pee on it and walk away.
Check out these strange old black and white photos titled, appropriately enough, “Unexplainable Black and White Photographs.” The first ones are pretty weird. Towards the end I was ‘getting’ a lot more of them.
Do you like Karaoke? Have you ever wondered what might constitute the ‘perfect’ karaoke song? Matthew of Defective Yeti has, and he did an amusing little write-up about it.
Party Central Update: And here’s the great room, ready for a party, except I don’t have the balloons in place yet, will wait til tomorrow so they don’t wimp out before everyone gets here.
You can’t see the big table in the back on the left in this picture, but it’s there, with 10 more seats. We moved most of the furniture around, some of it is in the bedroom and I will have to crawl over it to get to the bed. 🙂
Goob is in the front, showing us what a party animal he is. Actually, he’s wondering how to get over to the rug so he can take a snooze.
I sent this to Andrew. It’s so very bad, but it made me holler near the end.
Shout-out to Az
for sharing this today.
This video reminds me of the story about about Bob’s boys when they were young – taping quarters to the cats’ paws. This simultaneously horrifies me and makes me laugh.
Ha, my mom just sent me this:
Notice leash. Headed for door, went out a ways, then ran back in so fast the leash dropped out of my hand. Then she tore around the whole house a couple of times then landed in a dining room chair without hanging herself somewhere on the leash. So we took the harness and leash off. We’ll practice more another day.
This cat, btw, is named Baby Huey. She’s huge. Mom just calls her Baby.
